The rum itself is a "single estate" spirit, crafted entirely from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice harvested on the distillery's farm. After a long fermentation with wild yeast, it is distilled in artisanal pot stills designed by the founder.

This 2018 vintage was matured for six full years in South African whisky casks. The aging took place at the distillery in the warm, subtropical climate, which accelerates the interaction between the spirit and the wood. This process develops a remarkable complexity that complements the rum's bold, grassy character.

The result is a powerful and singular rum. It opens with an inviting nose of mint leaf and caramel.
