Distilled in 2014 at Trelawny's legendary Hampden Estate, this ten-year single cask release features the prized Diamond H (<>H) marque-a high-ester Continental Flavored Rum boasting 900 to 1,000 g/hL AA in volatile esters. Produced using a historic blend of molasses, sugarcane juice skimmings, dunder, and muck, the wash undergoes a 10-day open fermentation with wild ambient yeasts before double distillation in Hampden's traditional copper pot stills. Maturation was split between four tropical years in Jamaica and six temperate years in the UK, culminating in a pristine 62% ABV cask-strength bottling in New York without chill filtration, added sugar, or caramel color.

Primary aromas of overripe tropical fruit, salted caramel, and pungent hogo lead the nose with intense aromatic lift. Physical palate weight is full, viscous, and powerfully structured, delivering immediate layers of fresh pineapple, green mango, pickled lemon, and warm allspice. In-house evaluations at USQ emphasize its formidable length, where high-ester fruit acidity slowly evolves into espresso bean, dark cocoa, and cured tobacco leaf.
