The Riesling grapes for this bottling were the very first to be picked for still wine, ensuring a vibrant, fresh profile.

Its unique texture and complexity are a result of meticulous cellar work. The juice was fermented almost entirely in neutral Austrian oak puncheons, barriques, and hogsheads (92.3%, 4.6%, and 3.1% respectively). Fermentation occurred with only indigenous yeast, and the wine was aged on its full lees. Malolactic fermentation was blocked, preserving the wine's tight, energetic core.

The nose is wonderfully expressive, offering notes of candied ginger, jasmine, crunchy pineapple, and honeysuckle. The palate is equally complex, showing flavors of navel orange, ripe peach, lime pith, and green mango, with intriguing hints of green cardamom and juniper.
