The Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey bridges the historic grit of Dublin distilling with the modern energy of downtown Manhattan. Crafted at the renowned Dublin Liberties Distillery, this super premium spirit is a dynamic collaboration with the founders of the famous New York City bar, The Dead Rabbit. Master Distiller Darryl McNally skillfully blends fine Irish malt and grain whiskeys to create this five year old expression.
Unlike standard commercial blends, this whiskey undergoes a highly specific aging process to build serious depth. The liquid rests in seasoned ex bourbon casks before finishing in half size virgin American oak barrels. This unique wood treatment imparts an incredible richness and complexity that easily sets it apart from ordinary Irish whiskeys on the shelf.
In the glass, the spirit opens with bold, inviting aromas of fresh cedar and warm vanilla. The palate delivers a full bodied experience.
