Assembled in Red Hook, Brooklyn, this expression marries mature straight bourbons sourced from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana, aged a minimum of ten years in charred new American oak. Rather than chill-filtering to maximize clarity at the expense of texture, the blend is brought to 91 proof exclusively using mineral-dense water drawn from the historic Rosendale limestone mines in upstate New York. This high calcium and magnesium content yields a distinctly round mouthfeel that softens high-rye heat while preserving fatty acid congeners.
Viscous and weighty on the palate, the liquid opens with heavy cream, sweet corn, vanilla bean, and nutmeg before deepening into dark cherry, orange oils, and rich maple syrup. Mid-palate tension introduces toasted almond and dry baking spices, finishing clean with charred oak tannins and a lingering peppery warmth.
