Sourced from a family-owned distillery in the Ahafo region of Western Ghana, this rare bottling showcases a shift from traditional cashew distillate to local, organic sugar cane. The production begins with fresh cane juice, which undergoes a three-day fermentation before distillation in a 2000-liter pot still. This careful process captures the raw essence of the land.

The aging journey is just as distinct. The spirit rests for one year in the tropical heat of Ghana before maturing for three more years in Europe within ex-bourbon casks. This dual climate aging creates complex layers without losing the vibrant character of the cane. Bottled at a powerful cask strength of 63.6 percent, this rum is presented completely natural, with no added water, color, or filtration.

In the glass, the nose is alive with ripe pineapple, lime zest, and green banana. As it opens, soft floral notes of jasmine mix with toasted oak. The palate is dry but generous, offering flavors of fresh sugarcane, passion fruit, and mango. A touch of vegetal tension balances the tropical sweetness.
