Grown organically on the mineral-laden slopes of Mount Pangeon in Greek Macedonia, Buketo White merges indigenous Aegean varieties with classic Bordeaux white structure into a cohesive field-blend philosophy. The assemblage unites 40% aromatic Malagousia, 30% structural Assyrtiko, and 30% grassy Sauvignon Blanc, fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel to capture primary aromatic tension without oak masking. Sourced from a collective of regional growers practicing sustainable viticulture, the cooler Northern Greek microclimate moderates ripening, ensuring the fruit retains vibrant natural acidity alongside ripe stone fruit character at a balanced 13.5% ABV.
Expressive white peach, ripe apricot, and jasmine blossoms emerge immediately, framed by lemon curd, crushed herbs, and faint toasted almond skin. On the palate, medium physical weight registers round and fleshy from the Malagousia, immediately tightened by Assyrtiko's chiseled, flinty backbone and Sauvignon Blanc's citrus drive. The finish tapers cleanly with lingering saline minerality and a hint of bitter almond. In-house testing at USQ showed that serving it lightly chilled at 48°F-52°F preserves the delicate floral terpenes while letting the rich stone fruit mid-palate unfold. Our team recommends pouring this 2024 bottling with grilled branzino drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and lemon, spanakopita, seafood orzo, chicken souvlaki with tzatziki, or grilled halloumi with fresh mint.
