Tresmano Albillo Mayor 2021 is a rare and captivating white wine. It requires an incredible amount of dedication to produce. The winemakers walk miles through historic vineyards in Olmedillo, Nava de Roa, and Villalba to find isolated white grape vines hidden among the red varieties. These rare Albillo Mayor vines are between sixty and one hundred years old. They grow in deep sandy soils over solid limestone.

During the dry 2021 vintage, the lack of rain produced tiny berries packed with intense flavor. Workers carefully hand harvest these rare clusters. In the cellar, the wine ferments and ages for nine months in just two new French oak barrels. It rests on its fine lees, which adds a rich, creamy texture. The winery produced a mere two thousand bottles of this exceptional vintage.

In the glass, the wine glows with a bright straw color. The nose is highly fragrant and deeply mineral driven. It offers striking aromas of wet flint, phosphorus, and limestone slate.
