Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon is a study in texture and depth, created through an innovative maturation process that amplifies the spirit's sweet, oaky character. The journey begins with standard Woodford Reserve, which is matured in handcrafted new white oak barrels. This mature bourbon is then transferred into a second, deeply toasted and lightly charred barrel for further aging.

This secondary maturation is transformative. The deep toast of the second barrel extracts rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, and sharp honey, while the light char adds a subtle layer of toasted. On the palate, the bourbon is full-bodied and complex, delivering a mix of vanilla, hazelnut, and apple, all wrapped in a creamy texture. The finish is long and satisfying, lingering with hints of honeyed apple.
