The spirit spends one year resting in repurposed American oak barrels. These casks, which once held bourbon, are sanded and re-toasted to impart gentle flavors. This short aging period allows the liquid to reach its peak for mixing without losing its identity. It marries the savory funk of the rainforest with the subtle sweetness of wood.
