Roserock Pinot Noir 2022 represents the elegant union of Burgundian heritage and Oregon soil. Produced by the Drouhin family, this wine comes from the Roserock Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills. While this region is often famous for powerful wines, winemaker Veronique Boss-Drouhin focuses on finesse and refinement. The fruit is sourced from thirty-five distinct blocks. Each block is handpicked and fermented separately to preserve its unique voice before the final blend is made.
The 2022 vintage tells a story of resilience. A harsh spring frost and cool start lowered the amount of fruit on the vines. However, a warm and sunny harvest season saved the day. The result is a smaller crop with exceptional concentration and quality. The farming is certified sustainable by LIVE, ensuring the land is treated with respect for future generations.
In the glass, this Pinot Noir offers a complex array of aromas. You will find notes of mixed berry jam and rosewater that open up to hints of spice and woodsmoke. The palate is medium-bodied with flavors of dark fruit and a distinct touch of iron. Silky tannins and fresh acidity provide a structure that allows the wine to age gracefully. It is a delicious example of how the Drouhin family brings their century of experience to the Pacific Northwest.

The 2022 Pinot Noir is kaleidoscopic on the nose, mixed berry jam and rosewater giving way to accents of tangerine peel, cola, woodsmoke and aniseed. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with spicy flavors, and a streak of iron-like character adds to its complexity. It’s structured by silky tannins and refreshing acidity and has a long, layered finish.
