Little Boat Pinot Noir represents a bridge between Old World elegance and New World fruit. Created by founder Jose Ignacio Cuenca and renowned winemaker William Knuttel, this wine captures the best of Sonoma County. The fruit comes primarily from the historic Mount Olivet Vineyard in the heart of the Russian River Valley. These vines, farmed by the Rued family, provide the elegant foundation of the blend. Grapes from the warmer Chalk Hill region are added to give the wine a strong backbone and structure.

The winemaking follows a traditional Burgundy style. The fruit is fully de-stemmed but left as whole berries. The grapes undergo a cold soak for three days to gently pull out color and flavor. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, with a portion being new wood from prestigious coopers. This careful process results in a wine with amazing concentration and harmony.

In the glass, Little Boat offers intense aromas of wild cherry and fresh strawberry. A distinct mineral note adds complexity to the fruit. On the palate, the texture is silky and smooth. Refined tannins support the flavors, leading to a long, elegant finish. This boutique wine is found on the lists of top chefs for a reason. It is balanced, food-friendly, and crafted with passion. It brings a message of peace and artistry in every bottle.
