Fred Jerbis Amaro 16 redefines the classic Italian digestif. Crafted by Federico Cremasco in the small village of Polcenigo, this artisan spirit takes a completely natural and highly localized approach. Unlike mass produced competitor brands that rely on heavy syrups and sharp herbs, this unique liqueur finds its perfect balance in the forest.

The recipe features sixteen distinct botanicals, twelve of which are harvested directly from native northern Italian trees. By utilizing the bark, leaves, and flowers of trees like chestnut, birch, linden, and mulberry, the producer creates a much softer and more rounded profile. The production honors ancient monastic traditions, using a single cold infusion process to gently extract pure flavors. Cremasco adds only a tiny fraction of native beet sugar, resulting in a remarkably low sugar percentage. To ensure high quality and consistency across releases without using artificial additives, the distillery employs a fractional blending method. They carefully hold back twenty percent of each batch to mix into the next, similar to a solera system.

In the glass, this unfiltered amaro displays a completely natural pale brown color. The nose offers a fresh, inviting aroma that is comfortably bitter without being aggressive. On the palate, it delivers a deeply herbaceous yet incredibly balanced flavor with a smooth, lingering finish. Bottled at twenty five percent alcohol by volume, this craft spirit is a brilliant tribute to Italian terroir. Enjoy it neat after a rich meal or use it to bring an earthy depth to your favorite classic cocktails.
