Bergstrom Cumberland Reserve Pinot Noir 2023 captures the true spirit of the Willamette Valley. Named after the road where the Bergstrom family grew up, this red wine represents the peak of their craft. The winemaking team carefully selects the finest barrels from five responsibly farmed estate vineyards. They blend these top selections to highlight the unique energy of the vintage. This careful, non industrial approach sets Bergstrom apart from mass market brands.
The wine matures in oak barrels for ten months. This resting period adds light spice notes like vanilla seed and toasted coffee without hiding the pure fruit. The sandy soils of the vineyards also give the final blend a distinct and mouthwatering hint of sea salt.
In the glass, this Pinot Noir reveals a beautiful medium bodied profile. The nose opens with rich scents of ripe strawberry, marionberry, and wild blueberry jam. These deep fruit notes mix with savory hints of spruce, dark chocolate truffle, and dried flowers. On the palate, the wine delivers a bright burst of cranberry, raspberry, and crisp apple. The texture feels like pure silk, framed by soft chalky tannins and lasting acidity. A beautiful wave of crisp minerals glides across the tongue, leading to a long and fresh finish.
Awarded 93 points from top critics, this wine offers incredible value. It drinks beautifully right now but has the structure to age in your cellar through 2035. Serve this elegant Oregon red with roasted salmon, earthy mushroom dishes, or grilled pork.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Cumberland Reserve is incredibly fresh, with a bouquet of dusty dried flowers, lavender pastille, nuances of cedary spice and wild blueberries. Ripe wild berry fruits and crisp mineral tones glide across the palate over a layer of pure silk. The finish is long and tense, yet remains remarkably fresh as violet tones resonate over a bed of silken tannins. The Cumberland Reserve represents amazing value. Already enjoyable, it will also excel in the cellar.
